COVID Latest

Torbay’s autumn Covid-19 and Flu vaccination programme set to start

A new Covid-19 booster vaccination programme for those most at risk of serious illness from the virus will launch in Torbay this autumn.

Torbay General Practice (TGP) will be running booster clinics at the Riviera International Centre in Torquay, from the 8th of October 2024.

Patients who fulfil the criteria will be able to book their appointment from Monday, September 23rd,  by clicking on this link: https://bit.ly/3ASVn69.

Please do not contact your GP practice to arrange your vaccine.

The great news this autumn is we can offer both Covid and flu vaccines together at the Riviera International Centre.

You may only be able to book your covid vaccine online, but when you come for that appointment if you are eligible, we will offer you your flu vaccine.

COVID-19 vaccine should be offered to:

  • Adults aged 65 years and over.
  • Residents in a care home for older adults.
  • Persons aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group.
  • Frontline health and social care workers and staff working in care homes for older adults.

Everyone who has parked in the ERC car park must put their car registration into our tablet before you exit, and this way parking is FREE. Our wonderful volunteers will help you with this.

Our friendly team look forward to welcoming you.
